Importing dictionaries
Uploading products, counterparties and other dictionaries from XLSX or CSV.
Import is available for all dictionaries: the "Import" button above the list.
Step 1. File
Drag in an XLSX or CSV file (up to 20 MB). The first row of the file is the column headers.
Step 2. Columns
The system shows the first rows of the file and, above each column, a field select. For most columns the field is guessed automatically from the header (Ukrainian, Russian and English headers are understood, as well as synonyms like SKU). Leave a column you do not need in the "Do not import" state.
Step 3. Parameters
- Matching field - which field to use to find an existing record and update it instead of creating a duplicate (code, article, external code or name).
- Mode - "create and update", "create only" or "update only".
- Empty cells overwrite existing values - off by default: an empty cell breaks nothing.
Step 4. Result
The import runs in the background; the page shows progress and then how many records were created, updated and skipped. Failed rows are listed with their numbers and can be downloaded as a separate file.
Relations are imported by name: a "Product group" column with the value "Groceries" will match the corresponding group. If there is no such group, the row is skipped with an explanation - the import never creates new dictionary records.
