Custom fields
Your own object fields: types, required flag, use in filters and columns.
Custom fields are your own fields that the standard card does not have: "Country of origin", "Declaration number", "Warranty date".
How to create
In the object list click the gear on the right and open the "Custom fields" tab. The "+ Field" button creates a new one.
Available types: String, Text, Integer, Decimal, Checkbox, Date, File, Link.
- Required - the object will not be saved without a value.
- Hide in the card - the field stays in filters and columns but does not take up space in the card. A required field cannot be hidden.
- The field type cannot be changed after saving - this protects against data loss.
The limit is 100 fields per object type.
Where else custom fields work
A created field is immediately available in filters, in table columns (gear → "Columns"), in import and export.
